Support Worker-Help to lift, reach, and carry, is 80% of the role. Clean driving licence an advantage. Ideal opportunity for gaining an NVQ in business administration, in a work based environment. Role will include processing and maintaining records, using online archiving, in-house software, excel spreadsheets, collating client data and assisting with team duties. If you are an artist or designer maker, there can be great opportunities for you to attend events across the East Midlands and South London.

PA to Receptionists Gallery Assistants Founder

We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with proven confidential management skills. Excellent communication skills are required from an articulate, self motivated person, with sound IT experience.                                

 

Administrator-financial/admin 
Experience of SAGE preferred. Ability to write successful funding bids desirable. Experience of purchase ledger and credit control essential. Experience of education, social health, or third sector desirable.
 
Receptionists x 2
We need two part-time volunteer receptionists to work at NEBLINAart.com at our PopUp Art Galley and Craft Studios, opposite Battersea Park. You will be required to be flexible as there will be some evening work, for at least one of you. Saturdays and Sundays will need to be worked and even some Bank Holidays. Also to cover for others illnesses. You will be able to use a computer and used to working in a retail or hospitality environment.
 
Gallery Assistants

This is a fabulous opportunity for enthusiastic, self motivated people, to market and sell our stock. Supporting at many levels this is a true multi tasking role for someone with (preferably a qualification in the Arts), exceptionally well presented and spoken (lots of social interaction) and a desire to progress.  A top all rounder with polish, style and a big smile, willing and helpful personality is essential.  Happy to muck in and sort out more personal PA matters for the founder also.  You will have excellent IT , diary management, travel and organisational skills.  A love of the Arts and have energy and commitment.  Demonstrated experience supporting at all levels with diary management is a must, as are top organisational skills. Knowledge of e-Commerce platforms advantageous.This is an ideal opportunity to get a foot in the door with an Art Gallery and Craft Centre, and to work your way up the ladder. 

Craft Studio Hosts/Artists
As above, but as a practising atrist, or designer/maker, you will be able to work alongside Neblina at events and exhibitions across the East Midlands, and South London, a truly fantastivc opportunity.

Walk Leaders

Lead guided walks across the area, 2-5miles long, in all weathers. You will lead, share you local knowledge and inspire groups of adults. Full training can be provided. vacancies@NEBLINAfriendship.com

Our Projects encourage people to be creative, fulfilling their needs, by developing projects that raise awareness, where art is used as a tool to further understanding. This may be looking at independence, raising self-esteem, bullying or healthy eating. Parent and carer communication with schools. Volunteer Vacancies Administrator

To take a more senior role within the group. Experience of admin, bookkeeping, staff employment is preferable. There may be an opportunity for you to head a group of volunteers and to supervise some projects. In time you may be promoted to manage within the group and implement your own projects. So initiative, ability to lead others would be an advantage. You may study for NVQ’s whilst you are with us.

Location, Grantham. Some roles may be home based.

Web Developer

To create an e-trading project from conception to completion at NEBLINAart.com  and other sites. To take a more senior role within the group. There may be an opportunity for you to head a group of volunteers and to supervise some projects. In time you may be promoted to manage within the group and implement your own projects. So initiative, ability to lead others would be an advantage. Would be a good placement to complete your degree.

Location, Grantham, Horncastle or home based.

DJ / Party Organisers

Digital DJ required to compile playlists for members party nights. To create light shows and present the music. An ability to MC, and lead the evening may be required on occasion. We have considerable equipment, and are constantly adding to it. Knowledge of different dance styles preferred and an ability to dance would be advantageous.

Party organisers, will organise the front of house at the above parties. Host and welcome all members and any visiting guests.

Location, home based preparation, and across the East Mids.

Radio/Television presenter. +  Radio Editor/producer etc (This available as one role or more?)

We are now making short films to extend our website NEBLINAart.com and other sites, from conception to completion. Would be a good placement to complete your degree.

Location, Grantham, Derby, Nottingham, East Mids and home based.

Visual Merchandiser

To display our paintings, sculpture, plants, textiles and all retail items. Fundraising experience an advantage. You may undertake fundraising projects as required.

Second to Founder

One person is required to take a more senior role within the group, for the volunteers to report to. Ability to take decisions and run a general office and virtual office. Experience of admin, bookkeeping, staff employment is preferable. There may be an opportunity for you to head a group of volunteers and to supervise some projects. In time you may be promoted to manage within the group and implement your own projects. So initiative, ability to lead others would be an advantage. Along with general PA duties. We seek a forward thinking, person able to work on their own initiative, who will take our organisation to the next level, which will enable you to have a future salary. Ability to complete funding applications is desirable. You may study for NVQ’s whilst you are with us.

Location, Grantham. Some roles may be home based.

Party Planner

If you love party plan etc you may like to take our items and party for us. Aromatherapy, crafts, cosmetics, art, books, gifts to name but a few. We need to move dated stock through party plan. Then table top sales and boot sales, for the final prices. Trustworthy persons with ability to work in a team of two. Large car desirable for one of you.

Carboot/Weekend Sales co-ordinator

If you love boot sales etc you may like to take our items and man a stall for us. Which maybe next to your family stall. We need to move dated stock through table top sales and boot sales, for the final prices. Trustworthy persons with ability to work in a team of two. Large car desirable for one of you.

Artist

Artist in residence required.

Assistant artists required to create arts and crafts under supervision.

Sew & Knitters

To make more of our sample items for fundraising. If you like designing, you may head one our teams. You may like to help at a sales event.

General Assistant

To assist in all areas.

IT

To assist in all IT matters and trouble shoot. To set up an office of 3-4 desks.

DIY

To create display stands for art exhibitions and similar projects.

Crafts Person
